EIFFEL chooses Fleet Support as a mobility partner

After an extensive market survey, EIFFEL has selected Fleet Support as its mobility partner. The fleet of more than 600 cars and the management of the approximately 200 mobility cards will be completely outsourced to Fleet Support.

Service and sustainability
Who doesn’t know them? The striking red EIFFEL cars with logo sticker on the back. The cars have become an integral part of the street scene and are therefore an important calling card for EIFFEL. Niels Schmitz, Mobility project leader at EIFFEL: ‘We expect significant growth in the coming years, the number of EIFFEL cars on the road will only increase. This is an opportunity to take steps in service, with more flexibility and a tailor-made offer. Sustainability also plays a role in this. As far as we are concerned, a successful business model is a sustainable business model; we continuously look at what we can contribute to the world around us. Reducing the CO2 emissions of the vehicle fleet is an important objective, electrification helps. Our fleet is already 60% electric and we are certainly not finished yet.’

A good neighbor…
With the desire for more service and flexibility, EIFFEL went in search of an optimal form of mobility for the future, among other things by starting an extensive survey among employees. Ultimately, the right form was found in the collaboration with Fleet Support. ‘Very cool that EIFFEL is now not only a good neighbor, but also our customer’, says Youri van Gogh, key account manager at Fleet Support. At the end of last year he started the first exploratory conversations with Niels Schmitz, pleasant conversations with the end result of a great new customer relationship.

next level
Fleet Support will take mobility within EIFFEL to the next phase, with an offer that (even) better meets the wishes of the employees and is more efficient and effective. Youri van Gogh: ‘With an advanced fleet management system, our extensive team of specialists and by using XPOfleet* software, we can efficiently manage all suppliers involved and also provide EIFFEL with crystal-clear advice and flexible, sustainable mobility. Ultimately, that contributes to happiness at work within EIFFEL and thus to the value creation that EIFFEL is so committed to.’

* Fleet Support recently acquired the Belgian Gloriant bv, an expert in fleet management software and outsourcing. XPOfleet from Gloriant provides (cloud-based) fleet management software that allows companies to efficiently manage their fleet and other mobility services.
